Who runs the IPTV Player Forum

A comparison of IPTV player software — based on public store reviews, not gut feeling or commissions.

This page is an informational translation. The German version is legally authoritative.

Operator

iptvplayer.tech is operated by TheNoCompany LLC (address and contact details in the Legal notice). We do not offer streams, channels or subscriptions, and we do not link to content providers.

Where the numbers come from

The basis is public reviews from official store listings on the Apple App Store and Google Play, retrieved daily. A player only appears in the ranking once 30 reviews have been analyzed; rankings are based on store rating, weighted by the number of reviews. A language model assigns sentiment and topics to the review texts — these are classifications of user texts, not our own test results.

Independence and our own app

There are no paid placements. The TELOS IPTV Player comes from the same operator as this site; it is marked everywhere as “Our own app” and remains outside the ranking until it has enough store reviews under the same rules.

Sources and reproducible checks

Store ratings describe feedback from store users. The review texts we classify are a separate sample; their number is not the denominator of the rating. Neither dataset is our own device test.

These dates refer to different sources. A new export does not recheck the curated features. Older feature, price and availability statements need a fresh check in the official listing for your device and country.

Store screenshots are supplied by the app publishers, not captured in our own tests. Store presence alone does not establish support for every TV model, input format or playback setup. TELOS belongs to this website operator; its availability must also be checked for the exact platform.

The rating uses Σ(store average × store rating count) / Σ(store rating count), rounded to one decimal. Only stores with an average and a count contribute. An illustrative input of 4.0 from 100 ratings and 5.0 from 300 ratings gives 4.8; it is not a measured app result.

The forum remains a place for attributed reader questions and answers. Automated classifications of store text do not become firsthand forum posts or device tests. Corrections should identify the page, source and date; no invented review or equipment result is added here.

Check one variable at a time: validate a nonprivate playlist sample, measure on the actual playback device, then compare the official device and input requirements. Record device, app version, date and the result before changing another setting.

Official listings behind the comparison

These links identify the exported store IDs. Opening a listing checks its current information; the build itself does not fetch or verify it.
