Hi everyone, I recently started using an IPTV service and am looking for a player with a genuinely good EPG program guide. In my current player, TiviMate, the EPG is often incomplete or slow to load. Does anyone use a player with a reliable, well-organized, fast-loading program guide? My setup is a Fire TV Stick 4K and an M3U list. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I used TiviMate myself for a long time, but the EPG was also a problem for me. I then switched to iMPlayer. Its EPG integration is very good, it loads quickly, and it also shows descriptions and posters. The guide is clearly structured, and you can look several days ahead. The only downside is that the app isn't free, but it's worth the money.

I use Kodi with IPTV Simple Client. The EPG depends heavily on the source XML, but with a good EPG source, the guide is very detailed and customizable. You can change its appearance using skins. Setup is somewhat more involved than with specialized players, though. It's perfectly adequate for me.

I tested Smarters Player Lite, but its EPG was very basic, showing only the channel name and time with no descriptions. I then switched to OTT Navigator. It has an extremely flexible EPG view, with search and reminders. It also runs smoothly on older Fire Sticks. The guide even shows genre colors.

I still recommend TiviMate, but with one trick: manually load the EPG data from an external XML source, such as one from GitHub. The guide then works perfectly and also shows program details. The app itself is the best for usability and customization in my view. iMPlayer is also good, but personally I find it too expensive for what TiviMate can do.
