Hi everyone, I've been using a Fire TV Stick 4K with an IPTV subscription (M3U + Xtream Codes) for a few months. So far I've tried TiviMate's trial version, but the premium cost puts me off a little. Now I'm considering switching to OTT Navigator. What are your experiences? Is TiviMate really worth the money, or is OTT Navigator more than enough? My priorities are stable playback, good EPG support, and a clear interface.

I tested both players on my Nvidia Shield. TiviMate clearly wins for me with 86/100 points in a comparison. The interface is polished, and the multi-EPG view with multiple sources is hard to beat. OTT Navigator is fine, but I experienced occasional stutters, especially with the stability of 4K streams and zapping speed. If you want a well-rounded experience, TiviMate Premium is worth it.

I switched from TiviMate to OTT Navigator a year ago and don't regret it. TiviMate has the nicer interface, of course, but OTT Navigator gives me more customization options, especially for categorization and hidden settings. I can also often fix buffering issues myself in OTT Navigator by switching players. For me, flexibility is more important than appearance.

OTT Navigator runs very smoothly on my Fire TV Stick 4K Max, even with large playlists and multiple EPG sources. TiviMate had occasional dropouts for me with Catch-Up, and I never used the recording function anyway. What bothers me about OTT Navigator is that searching through channels is a little awkward. But it's more than enough for everyday use, and it costs less than TiviMate as a one-off.

I use both in parallel on different devices. TiviMate is definitely the premium player with the best stability and the most mature EPG, as the 2026 comparison also shows. OTT Navigator, on the other hand, scores with hardware compatibility and often runs more smoothly on older boxes. My tip: If you only have one stick and don't want to experiment, choose TiviMate. If you like tinkering, OTT Navigator is the cheaper alternative.
